10k per tweet! What am I doing wrong?!

According to the Examiner, Kim Kardashian gets paid $10,000 for each tweet she posts on behalf of advertisers. That's $10,000!! Per. Tweet. Or, if the advertiser's getting their full 140-character's worth, that's just over $70 per character. Apparenlty Kardashian limits paid tweets to once per day but come on people... is there a better paying job than that?

On the flip side I must say the marketing teams at these companies fronting 10k per tweet know how to get their message out there!

Tweet Deck

I few weeks back I attended a social media convention and learned about TweetDeck. According to the site " TweetDeck is an Adobe Air desktop application that is currently in public beta. It aims to evolve the existing functionality of Twitter by taking an abundance of information i.e twitter feeds, and breaking it down into more manageable bite sized pieces." In other words if you find yourself on twitter a lot it is a great application to have on your machine. It is a great tool for organizing how you want to read different peoples tweets. Is there something that you use that is similar or maybe better than TweetDeck?
