Tweet Deck
Monday, March 9, 2009 at 8:33PM I few weeks back I attended a social media convention and learned about TweetDeck. According to the site " TweetDeck is an Adobe Air desktop application that is currently in public beta. It aims to evolve the existing functionality of Twitter by taking an abundance of information i.e twitter feeds, and breaking it down into more manageable bite sized pieces." In other words if you find yourself on twitter a lot it is a great application to have on your machine. It is a great tool for organizing how you want to read different peoples tweets. Is there something that you use that is similar or maybe better than TweetDeck?

As you know, the success of Twitter recently has been due to the explosion of mobile access, and apps on all new phones. Personally, I rarely ever send twitter updates on a computer, it's always on my phone. My concern with TweetDeck is that it's tied to a computer, and obviously too advanced for a cell phone.
Unless I have it at work, it would be unlikely for me to get much use from it. Still, it looks like a really great piece of software and will try it out as soon as I can.
